My Rating:

My Review:

This book was so cleverly written it's shocking!  I finished reading this book and was literally floor by how in depth an well plotted and paced it was.  The story line is flawless, creative and thrilling.  It is all around an original story line, an for a historical romance that is amazing to accomplish!

For the first third of the book, you are taken from the first introduction of 'a gentleman' and Georgia on the streets of Broadway NY.  He takes a head injury and a week later Mrs. Georgia Milton, widowed in her early 20's, agrees to board the gentleman until his identity can be located.  Their romance and interaction in general is entertain to read.  Once the gentleman is identified by his father, the Duke of Wentworth, the story picks up in pace and intricacy.  The gentleman is Roderick Gideon Tremayne, sole living heir to the Duke of Wentworth.  I don't want to give much more away but in the end romance and love wins and Georgia re-invents herself to become accepted into Roderick's circle.  Georgia is a very strong independent character and I absolutely LOVED her dialogue and her sass!  I devoured this book and I can not wait for the second in this series to come out!  Over all, this is one of if not the best historical romance I have read in years!
