Review: Her Highland Rogue

Her Highland Rogue Her Highland Rogue by Violetta Rand
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

I was given a free copy from net galley for a honest review.

This book has the potential to be great, however I felt it missed the mark a little. The plot is sound and the character development is good. However I felt the story line seemed hollow in parts. It felt like certain details were rushed out or missing all together. I will read more from this author to see how she grows and I have high hopes her next book will be better and I will definitely be reading it to see.

Review: The Beast of Clan Kincaid

The Beast of Clan Kincaid The Beast of Clan Kincaid by Lily Blackwood
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I have to say first I devoured this book. When Niall is taken away from his family and brothers you felt like you were there. Niall's revenge was sweet but all revenge has a bitter edge and his is no different. Elspeth is a clever woman who keeps getting kidnapped or in trouble and Niall is always there to protect her, and their feelings for each other grow perfectly and more importantly realistically. They have their trials and their love is certainly tested but it was great to read it happen! The ending is FANTASTIC! And I will get the second in the series the day it drops on book shelves for certain.
