Review: The Rebel of Clan Kincaid

The Rebel of Clan Kincaid The Rebel of Clan Kincaid by Lily Blackwood
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I absolutely adored this story. This series so far is amazing. It has such feeling and the back story is so strong that it makes the each book flow that much easier. The romance in this story has a few ups and downs and difficulties but never felt unrealistic or choppy. The plot flows very nicely and the last chapter was very rewarding to read, I caught myself smiling and even let out a yes while reading! I can't wait for Cullen's book to find out what happened to him after that fateful night his parents were killed and his brothers taken away! Absolutely recommend this book and this series!

Review: Campbell's Redemption

Campbell's Redemption Campbell's Redemption by Sharon Cullen
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Iain and Cait's story is perfection. I really liked the banter between the two and the slow development of their feelings. It felt realistic and full of different emotions. I enjoyed the over all story line and is a great third book in the series. It was nice to see the characters from the previous books and I can't wait to read the next book in the series! I definitely recommend to any highland historical fiction lover and I will definitely be adding this author on my must buy list!

Review: Highland Temptation

Highland Temptation Highland Temptation by Jennifer Haymore
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I absolutely LOVED this book, by far the best in the series so far! The romance and mystery were perfectly proportionate and the main characters are perfectly flawed! The story had a multiple plots in one book and keeps the reader engaged the whole time! I highly recommend this book!

Review: Taming the Highlander

Taming the Highlander Taming the Highlander by May McGoldrick
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I really loved this second book in the Scottish Relic Trilogy. It had a great pace, fantastic characters and character development and I loved the reintroduction of the main characters from book one in this book. This book definitely makes you feel a wide range of emotions and I love when a book does this. The concept of this trilogy is original and I absolutely love when I read something new and unpredictable!

4/5

I enjoyed the over all story line but it was a slow start. I enjoyed the romance and the main characters were very nicely developed.

Review: Her Highland Rogue

Her Highland Rogue Her Highland Rogue by Violetta Rand
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

I was given a free copy from net galley for a honest review.

This book has the potential to be great, however I felt it missed the mark a little. The plot is sound and the character development is good. However I felt the story line seemed hollow in parts. It felt like certain details were rushed out or missing all together. I will read more from this author to see how she grows and I have high hopes her next book will be better and I will definitely be reading it to see.
