THE SIREN centers on character Nora Sutherlin, an erotica writer and the hottest author in the
fastest growing market in publishing. Nora has the entire industry buzzing
about her new manuscript. But editor Zachary Easton, who left London for New
York to escape a failing marriage and to work with the best young writers in
America, isn’t convinced. He agrees to work with the notorious novelist on the
condition that she rewrite her manuscript from start to finish within 6 weeks.
Nora is determined to show Zach that while she may have a sinful reputation for
play, she’s deadly serious when it comes to her writing.
As their partnership deepens, Nora brings Zach to her private
club—an elite underground organization in the sexual subculture of BDSM, where
Nora is a famed professional dominatrix. But Zach knows a thing or two about
punishment himself and with Nora’s deadline looming, he isn’t going to ease her
suffering until her book is perfect. After all, Nora understands that pain and
pleasure are flip sides of the same page.
Tiffany Reisz was a former seminarian. She was
studying to get her Master's of Theology student at a conservative southern
seminary when she quit to follow her true passion - writing erotica.
My Rating:
My Review:
The Siren is one of the best books I’ve read! The writer, Tiffany Reisz, knows how to write one fantastic engaging
story!
I loved the many different aspects of this story. One being the romances of the main character
Nora, past and present. The two male main characters, Zach and Wesley, interactions
together and with Nora are fantastic.
Each scene is only one string in a vast web this story creates! The ending is perfect but leaves you
thinking! I love the twists and
unexpected facts that pop through in the story and I honestly don’t think the
author could have done a better job!
This book isn’t just about erotica and so if that isn’t your
cup of tea I’d still recommend it. This
book makes you feel a wide range of emotions and makes you think about some
serious things. The Siren is just mind
blowing, ask my husband! After I read
it, I kept saying ‘wow’ and ‘that was one fantastic book!’
Pick it up and find out for yourself! If you do please tell me what you thought!
